It has been very exciting to work on the project for my clients. Their passion and confidence in the success of the new business endeavor has greatly encouraged me to confront the challenges that I have never faced before. And it can't be more exciting to see that a new company is about to be born and grow up.
Supported by the research results we obtained from the interviews and online survey, and based on their earlier talks and preferences, my clients have finally decided on the company name and are going on to the next stage of their business setup. And I'm glad that our project can move onto the next stage as well.
After meeting with the clients the week before, I modified the schedule in the project charter based on our discussion, and now the next biggest challenge I'm facing is the focus group scheduled to be conducted in early April. I have never hosted or attended a focus group before. In fact, before I came to the US to study marketing, I had never even heard of the term. Therefore, this is totally new to me. And that is why, despite all the foreseeable difficulties, I still chose to do a focus group. I want to experience something new to enrich my learning process, expand my knowledge, strengthen my skills and get myself prepared for the future. Hence, I am willing, and ready, to take the challenges.
One of the biggest issues involved in the focus group is whom I should invite as the attendants and how. I'm looking forward to the peer coaching this afternoon to get some valuable insights.
