Doing a capstone is like constructing a building. With all the design blueprint and foundation laying, now it is almost time to add the contents piece by piece to complete the structure. Only two weeks left before the end of this project, I also feel it is quite time to build up my capstone report before everything gets into a rush madly at the final stage, so that I can have confidence to meet the schedules listed in the charter and turn in a final one that is satisfactory.
This being said, I spent some time making a report format from the cover page to the final reference page and listed all the module titles that will be included. Then I put in the modules that I have finished doing and made them more complete and readable in a report. By doing so, I have another opportunity to probe into the text book of the Big Picture and look back and forward at our field book so that the correlation and wording could be more systematic. I will continue this work in the next week.
At the same time, I am working on the final deliverable of the communication strategy, which will include media coverage, advertising budget and most importantly creative pictures and posters that will contain the communication messages that I suggest throughout the report. Somehow I feel like how far I could go in the project depends on this part. The more I ponder on it, the more I find it is a very professional and creative job. I wish I could have a 4A company to help me out on the creation part. But now, I’d better become a well-rounded marketer myself first.
