Jumping In (and hoping not to belly flop)

Now that the charter in finalized and the work load has been sorted, we're diving in to the project and already feeling the crunch of time. It is easy to have confidence in what you know when you are writing a paper that only affects your grade, it takes much more to know you have confidence when your work and decisions have the potential to greatly affect a company you're consulting for.

As an individual that has worked full time for awhile before going back to earn my master's, I feel at ease in my own career field and confident to direct and make decisions. This work experience has guided my master's with relative ease, challenging how I view my career field and the decisions I'm making within it in real time. Now I get to bring together all that I've learned as a reflection of suggestions for another company in a non-adjacent field.

This week I felt the most confident when conducting the AVM workshop for Hubert and my team. It went well and we had engaging, enlightening, and fruitful conversation within the exercise.This was just the boost I needed to feel great about the work my team is doing and confident in the direction we're going!
