We are one week closer to our final presentation! This past week has been a little stressful, but a lot of progress has been made. We had our mid-point presentation with our clients at Live Well and Children's and it went very well. There was a little bit of miscommunication about the deliverables and details, but it ended up working to our advantage. We were originally told that the presentation would be formal, so we worked very hard to create a professional PowerPoint and dressed to impress. We got to the presentation and then were told that plans had changed and it was extremely informal. We were a little thrown off, but at least it allowed us to get a better idea of how the final presentation would be. Better to be over prepared than under prepared! We ended up getting some very helpful feedback, which was extremely comforting and set my mind at ease.
We have accomplished a lot this week on top of the presentation. We have split up the last deliverables as a team and are now just working on conquering those and preparing for the final presentation at Live Well. We also talked to one of our clients at Children's who was not able to make it to the presentation and I feel a lot better about where we are in the project and the steps that we need to finish to deliver our final pitch. Since our project is confidential, we are not able to present our findings tonight to the class, so we will lack that feedback. We are meeting with Drew next week and also have set up a time to meet with our clients at Children's to run through a mock presentation in order to receive feedback before the final presentation. I'm really glad that they are willing to work so well with us and and are pulling for us to succeed. They have done so much for us and I want to be able to do the same for them and deliver a presentation that they will never forget!
