Just when I thought that our project was rolling right along, a slight change of plans have emerged. After meeting with our client to go over our charter and research ideas, everyone seemed excited and ready to get going. It seems that since then, we have ran into a few snags with the direction our client wants us to take. While our main focus has been increasing the number of patients, now our client would also like us to look into some research with non-patients or in this particular case, donors. Scott and I agreed that because of time constraints and other limiting factors, we should stick with the original scope of our project and focus solely on increasing the number of patients for our client.
Wednesday we will begin conducting short in-person interviews with THCC patients. Our hope is to conduct these at multiple locations in THCC network. Our research budget has changed so we are hoping we can still get to our original goal and have as many responses as possible. Scott and I were hoping to have already conducted the value mapping exercise with our client and Drew, but because of multiple scheduling conflicts, we have been unable to set a date. Hopefully we can complete that exercise soon, even if that means not having Drew in attendance. So far, this seems to be the most challenging part of our project, so I would consider us very lucky!
