I have settled down with my frustration from earlier this week. I realized things are moving at an acceptable pace and I just need to relax a little bit. Thankfully my team and I met with Drew via Skype earlier this week to review our Market Research Plan and Focus Group Guide. It was incredibly helpful. We had gone down the path of trying to create the education pieces that go with the campaign we will recommend when truly that isn't in our scope. We aren't psychologists who should be researching the cues that people give off to signal they're uncomfortable with a situation. We should be finding the best channels to promote the campaign to get people to learn about that research and education. We had gone completely into the weeds and down the wrong path so it was helpful to take a step back and realize we needed to tap into the best locations, events and channels to promote a campaign and what drives students interest. I feel relieved as the prospect of researching the verbal and physical cues was overwhelming. I also think one on one discussions with students will be much easier to approach with this angle. It's still a lot of work but definitely feel like we are seeing things clearly now and on the right path.
