It's starting to feel like our capstone project is coming together. Today, Scott and I met to take a look at our research results again and work on our Big Picture framework. We examined multiple advertisements provided by our client in hopes to be able to better understand where they're at currently.
We seem to be making good process. This week we will begin putting together a report of our research findings. Due to multiple scheduling issues, we hope to finally be able to set a date for the value mapping exercise and be able to complete it with our client. We think it will fit nicely with our research findings and will be a beneficial exercise for the organization (The HealthCare Connection). Looking ahead, I would like to start examining our client's digital strategy. From the information I have looked at so far, it looks like their current digital strategy is doing well, but there is room for improvement. Since our client is a non-profit organization, social media could potentially be a valuable, yet inexpensive way to reach their target audience. Looking to the future, a good digital strategy is incredibly important.
Some issues that I think we still need to deal with is branding. Our client has multiple healthcare locations and without going into too much detail, it looks like a lot of their current patients are having trouble recognizing the connection. Scott and I will need to come up with ways to fix this issue. Right now, that is my biggest concern.
I feel really lucky right now to have the client that I do. All things considered, we haven't had any major roadblocks or issues that have proved to be detrimental to our our project or our timeline. I keep anticipating something coming up, but I am thankful that we are still on track. It's exciting to be able to see the end result in sight, even if there's still about two months left in the semester.
