Ripinka and I sent a draft of our project charter to Erik this week. He reviewed it and we had a brief call with him this morning. Erik's impression of our proposed charter was favorable. He indicated our direction and proposed deliverable was exactly what the Bailout team was looking for. We have a two phase market research project planned. The first phase consists of guided but unstructured interviews with firefighter end consumers of the Bailout EVO personal rescue system. The insights gained from these interviews will help Ripinka and I design some consumer communications concepts to be tested in a Qualtrics survey experiment in phase 2 of the project. We will then present the results of this experiment to the Bailout team to demonstrate effective methods of communication to their target market.
We have our first call with Dr. Boyd tomorrow. I'm excited to hear his feedback. The call will help us more clearly define our next steps and I anticipate he may have some tools for us to use as our project progresses. We have another interview with Captain Matt Stelle of the Loveland-Symmes Fire Department this Wednesday, and our contact from the Miami Township Fire Department returns to Cincinnati on Tuesday. Ripinka and I are aiming to have our unstructured interviews done by the beginning of July so we can spend the next few weeks analyzing the interviews and designing our qualtrics experiment. Our project is taking shape and I am excited to see how it turns out!
