This past week, our team made significant progress towards the project. We are able to narrow down the countries we will be focusing one. We also selected the specific strategies we will use going forward. Meeting Drew during the weekend and get his opinion was also awesome because we have a clear and specific plan on how we are going to proceed with the project.
6 Principals of Persuasion, Systematic Innovations Thinking and Cracking the Ad Code will be the 3 guideline going forward. I have to admit. 6 principals of persuasion is my fave rate strategy. Learning 6 principals of persuasion really changed my way of thinking. There are a few personal examples.
I have the honor to meet an expert in effective networking a week ago. Surprisingly, he has been using the principals even though he has never heard of the persuasion principals. He was telling me deposit in a relationship every month without asking for anything. Building a relationship without an agenda is important. One day, this person you have been depositing in will help you. It is exactly the Reciprocity principal.
Another example about Scarcity. I recently started my AirBNB business for my never used basement. I have a bed room, a bathroom and a living area in the basement. I host travelers for a few days a month. It's like a hotel service at home. I blocked days on my AirBnB calendars for days I'm not able to host. One traveler must have seen my calendar on my AirBnB thinking that this is a popular listing, not all the days are available. He booked really fast and told me that he doesn't want to lose the days his family desires to reserve. This is exactly the Scarcity.
Another principal I use a lot is the liking principal. People tend to like other people that are similar to them. When having a conversation with a person that I'm not very familiar with, I normally highlight the similarity of same hobby or same vacation spot etc. Then it will be very easy to have a conversation going.
