This past week flew by! With the combination of the holiday, our contact being on vacation, and me traveling out of town unexpectedly, I feel like I haven't accomplished much. The crazy thing is, that we have! We've done some primary interviews, one of which required us to travel to practically Dayton at the end of last week. I'm happy to report that they are going really well. I am however, disappointed in myself because I was not productive to the extent I wanted it to be. It's hard to juggle Capstone, another class, and the job hunt! I knew it would be stressful, but wow do I feel overwhelmed. I keep reminding myself there is a light at the end of the tunnel in just three short weeks. I can definitely say this process already has made me stronger, pushed me to be more confident in myself and my work. I am still struggling with being more confident, but I think Capstone along with going on job interviews is really helping me to grow as a marketer and a young professional. I will be forever grateful that I can speak to this experience, especially with not having full-time work experience.
So what's on the agenda for this week? Our second project review! I am a little nervous for it, but I know we have done a lot since the last one. I am interested in getting Drew's take on how to finalize the project and deliver a great Capstone. I feel as though our client is satisfied, but it is sometimes hard to read them. We'll know for sure in just a few weeks. I am trying not to psych myself out too much about the presentation. The key for me will be lots of preparation and practice sessions!
Keep pushing through..we're almost to the finish line.
