Continuous Improvement

In this week, Jonathan and I turned in our second deliverable to our clients at TECT Power. Our deliverable was our design ideas for their current website. Overall, I believe that we did a much better job of making this deliverable more of a collaboration between us and the client. Instead of just taking the information and guidelines that Carrie and Greg gave us, we got them more involved with some of their own ideas, concepts, and goals for the overall assignment. I think this made the process much more clear and allowed for a team effort which made the deliverable feel more complete. This was something that I believe we lacked in the first deliverable, and it felt to improve on the communication and team work with our clients. Overall, I feel like Jonathan and I are getting more comfortable with taking charge and getting the most out of each meeting we have with Carrie and Greg.

Looking forward, we need to continue to improve our communication and collaboration with our clients. It is easy to get complacent when you see improvement in your performance, but I still believe that we have areas of improvement. I feel like we need to be a little bit more organized before our meetings and have set points that we need to touch on. In our meetings, we seem to be somewhat unorganized when it comes to asking questions and getting the information we need. If we can improve upon this, I believe that our next two deliverables will be just as good, if not better, than our previous two deliverables for our client. I look forward to the second half of the semester and the challenges that are ahead!
