Presentation's date has been confirmed next week. It was a week where the knowledge i acquired from marketing lectures and the real work expertise has been mixed together to give the outcome. The journey of decision making analysis varies from one person to another, but the common considerations are the ones the marketers should focus on. The journey differs between the Pest Control Advisers (PCA) based on the level of education, age, and experience. Usually the environment concerns is in the top of minds for those PCAs who are older. Younger Pest Control Advisers have much concerns on the allowed crops damage percentage.
Older PCA has more resistance to the new technology in the industry, while the younger ones are more flexible and would prefer the technology to reduce the damages. We are here in-front of two different mentality in the same funnel, however there are still many common factors between PCAs which help me to determine the journey mapping decision , from awareness to consideration to decision.
It was a challenge to contact PCAs in another state , even without knowing any but proper communication and implementing the persuasions principles help a lot. Usually professionals like the " Praise, Likability " but also I think the reciprocity principles is the most effective one, although there was no budget for this project from the client.
When communicating with clients I have learned that time management is also important, and this aspects shows how organized the individual is. Being organized reflects the work professionalism. The flow of ideas and connecting the dots are very important in digital marketing .
"Words Matter", to be very selective in choosing the words while constructing the surveys and a good listener while asking these questions are two more important things to be considered.
One more week and the project is done and I hope the client will take my insights into actions.
