Hi Everyone,
The only way to describe this past week is; life happens! The school has entered enrollment season for the next school year so finding a time to connect with the client was a little bit of a challenge. We eventually settled on what was supposed to be an 11 o'clock meeting today however, I unfortunately had to postpone this at the last minute because of a minor medical emergency I had this morning. This after struggling with the flu all through last week. Honestly, I just find myself a little drained after all of it but, I'm sure it'll be fine as soon as I am rid of all the viruses in my system.
Susan and I have agreed to reschedule our meeting for tomorrow (that's if I am feeling any better). As mentioned in last weeks post this will be our discussion on my recommendations for the first phase of the project. I am pretty confident in my findings and research and I hope that this goes a long way in helping the school find a software that works best for their needs. As per usual, I am a little nervous about it and anxious to see what Susan thinks. Halfway through this Capstone project, I still find myself overthinking things and maybe second guessing myself, but I'm learning to trust my instincts more and more with every phase. With my previous work experience, I have obviously worked on a number of client projects in the past but I'm not sure I will ever get so used to it that It doesn't scare me just a little bit. I for one welcome a little pressure and think it can bring out the best in my work. Will have much more to report back next week after our meeting.
